Dettagli Architettura Studio is established in Rome since 1987 by means of Arch. Paolo Marciani and Massimo Monteleone.

During the previous years, between 1974 and 1986 the two partners have worked as external advisors or employees at CENTRODOM s.r.l., I.D.E.A. s.r.l. and LAYOUT s.r.l., in the liturgical architecture field at first and then in the design and delivery “key in hand” of big decoration projects for villas, offices and public constructions in several Arabic countries.

Between 1987 and 2000 Dettagli Architettura Studio works mainly in Rome, focusing its line of business in the renovation, consolidation and furnishing of houses, villas, offices and historical buildings.
Through these internal design and construction experiences, the Studio has been able to experiment the relationship amongst the various drawing scales and between the project and the materials structure and finishing. It has been able to develop an expertise on preference trends and human and business relationship patterns acting both in the Arabic and in the Italian public and private environments. The Studio also became very familiar with the Italian and European market for furnishing and construction products.

Another activity carried out by the Studio has been the Planning and Supervision of condos adapting, consolidation and restoration and the creation of mobile phones sites for a Telecom – TeleSpazio company.

In the Nineties it has studied in deep the residential architecture for senior citizens, carrying out several projects.

Towards the end of the Nineties, the Studio goes back into putting its efforts in researches and works in the worship architecture field, generating a partnership with the artist and Jesuit theologian P. Marko Ivan Rupnik and the Centro Aletti Atelier, with the purpose of pursuing the possibilities of a contemporary holy architecture and iconography, both on a theoretical way and through actual projects and creations. The Studio carries out the renovation and liturgical adapting of churches and chapels in parish facilities or within seminaries, superior general houses, spiritual centres belonging to Episcopates, Religious Orders or Congregations and inside historical or contemporary artefacts in Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Poland and the USA.

Beginning in year 2000 the Studio carries out the design and often the construction of architecture works that are both civil (villas, squares, the jubilee papal stage) and religious (spiritual houses, monasteries, parish complexes).

Over the years, the Studio has carried out some projects and constructions in partnership with external designers (Prof. Arch. Marco Petreschi and Arch. Diana Petti for the 2000 Jubilee Papal Stage; Arch. Piero Meo Grossi for Princess Al Soudairy’s villa in Teddah, Arch. Bruno Rapisarda for a show room connected to warehouses in Hofuf in Saudi Arabia and the interiors of the Banco di Macerata in Rome, Arch. Nazzareno Cometto for the Imperial Country Club in Tehran, Arch. Morozzo della Rocca for the Suore Tedesche Institute’s chapel in Rome, Arch. Sergio Torgano for the works in Algeria, the furnishing of a yacht in Argentina and of a villa in the Contadora island, Arch. Luciano Suriano for the Prince Fawaz Bin Abdullah’s villa in Jeddah, Arch. Silavano Zanoni for the construction of the Spiritual House in S. Zeno di Montagna on the Lake Garda).
